Street Style

I absolutely loved the beautiful detail on this woman's cropped jacket which she told me was from Indonesia. Teamed with these tapered orange trousers I think the combination is perfect. I would never be daring enough to wear such bright colours but maybe I should experiment and man up one day! I was really inspired by the use of colour and texture shown in this outfit.

Channelling Chanel

I bought these high waisted shorts from Whistles last month and were an absolute steal at only £30 down from £120! They reminded me very much of the classic Chanel tweed and after wearing this combo at work, my best friend insisted she took pictures for her blog and found this similar look from the Chanel resort collection 2012! I'm hoping one day to find a little tweed blazer to sort of match, to complete my outfit!

RHW

Rosie Huntington-Whitely is the perfect model for this Gucci masterpiece, depicting everything which the dress portrays. Just beautiful.

Googly Eyes.

All Hail Bip

Bip Ling, blogger turned model, muse and presenter among a list of other things has started to pop up everywhere I look. Her off-beat sense of fashion and unique blogging style has individualised herself from the thousands of fashionistas in London town and landed her huge fashion campaigns and front row seats to almost every show at LFW. Bunny ears and huge bows, remember her name, I can predict she will be making huge movements in the fashion industry in years to come!

The Kooples

For months I have been tearing out "The Kooples" adverts from my various magazine monthly's. I absolutely love the french brand, the whole concept of shopping for couples, the beautiful chic couples themselves, and this was from only looking at the adverts. After exploring through the website, my love for this edgy brand grew by a mile. Although quite expensive, I am determined to save up for one of their sculptured, tailored suits and a pair of their suede tipped shoes.. so demure and sleek. I think I am going to have to make a Kooples piggy bank! As the french would put it.. C'est magnifique! These are some of my favourite looks and 'kooples.'

Nobody can be uncheered with a balloon

A person very close to me which I must add is the most talented person I know, recently directed a music video for beautiful Alice Gold including candles by the thousand, glitter and pastel balloons. After working out the average time it would take to blow up one balloon it got me thinking about balloons and their playful presence in fashion as an almost accessory. I couldn't imagine a Miss Dior Cherie advert without them. They do seem to add a fairytale-like, light-hearted happiness to any scene. Both music director and Miss Dior Cherie herself have inspired me to do a shoot of my own incorporating these pretty props.. Here's some more inspiration I found... The shoot will follow shortly! I wonder if I could recycle the balloons my boyfriend used for his magical shoot!

McCartney does polka dots

Stella McCartney has wowed me yet again. My jaw dropped as I flicked through her A/W 2011 collection! I especially loved the hints of sexy polka dot towards the end of the show. Her signature masculine/feminine look is at it's best in this collection pushing the boundaries resulting in stunning trouser suits and sharp cut coats with beautiful embroidered tulle poking out here and there. Although I wasn't so sure on the lurex gold spangly suit, (which reminded me of shiny christmas wrapping paper!) McCartney never disappoints with yet another incredible collection capturing my favourite look of structured simplicity.
